P164-000-8K6 – Overview
The Tripp Lite P164-000-8K6 HDMI coupler (F/F) extends your 8K audio/video application by connecting two 8K-capable HDMI cables to create one longer connection. The compact coupler fits in the palm of your hand and features molded gold-plated connectors to ensure top signal transfer. It is compatible with all HDMI cables, so you can use the coupler with lower resolution equipment, but 8K cables are necessary to achieve 8K resolutions.
The P164-000-8K6 supports Ultra HD 8K video resolutions up to 7680 x 4320 at 60 Hz with 36-bit Deep Color. High Dynamic Range (HDR) provides a wide range of vibrant colors with richer contrast, brighter whites and deeper blacks that pop on your 4K or 8K display. HDCP 2.2 compliance allows you to stream 4K Amazon and Netflix content with no complications. This coupler also supports 4:4:4 chroma subsampling for top-level PC gaming or using your HDTV as a PC monitor.
